Matt Popchock, formerly known to CBS Radio Pittsburgh audiences as “Mr. High School Sports,” is a multimedia specialist who has covered scholastic sports in the past decade for such outlets as the MSA Sports Network, the Westmoreland Sports Network, Rubino Productions and 93.7 The Fan (KDKA-FM).
He has also covered University of Pittsburgh football and men’s basketball as a syndicated writer for Bleacher Report and blogged about hockey for Rant Sports and Pittsburgh Hockey Digest. In addition, he has hosted the shows Trib Total Media Hockey Night and Inside High School Hockey on the PIHL Network as a content provider and social media liaison for the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Hockey League.
